3 Tips for Achieving Success in Network Marketing by Jason Boreyko
Jason Boreyko learned about network marketing at a very young age. His father was a former Amway distributor, and Jason would often help his dad pack boxes to get them ready for clients. He was only five years old at the time. At 18 years old, he started his own networking company. The reader could say that Jason Boreyko has gained the knowledge and experience to make him a network marketing expert. And on this note, Jason would like to share a few tips that could help anyone looking to start in the networking business achieve success.
Below are his top three tips:
1. Be selective about the company and its products
When choosing a networking company, can you honestly say that you will be using its products? And for that matter, do you believe in the value that it brings into your life—and your potential customers/partners? The first rule of thumb, says Jason Boreyko, is to believe in the products. You can’t properly sell what you don’t believe in. You may be able to close a few deals but that would probably be as far as you can go.
Also, Jason Boreyko reminds everyone to do a thorough background check on the company. What is their reputation when it comes to their products? How are they with the pay plan? For the pay plan, you need to specifically find out about how much of the dollar-per-sale ratio goes to the distributors, and how is the dollar-per-sale ratio distributed to old and new members?
2. Be willing to be mentored
The veterans of the company know more than you do, and they have structured their own system to achieve success in the network marketing industry; which is why it’s important for you to pay attention to them and seek them out whenever you need help in a specific area. Remember that whatever they’ve done and are still doing to make them successful in the field is something that you can do as well. In other words, their system and techniques can be duplicated. Listen carefully and learn from the company’s veterans, reminds Jason Boreyko.
3. Consider the upline
In the network marketing business, the upline are the people who are higher than you; or to put it another way, the people above you in the networking hierarchy. These are people who recruited you, who recruited the one who recruited you and so on. What you need to check with the upline is the “higher-ups'” willingness to help you out. Are they approachable? Are they invested in your success more than—or at least as much as—their own? It’s important to have a strong support system, says Jason Boreyko.
Jason Boreyko would also like to add that you should be committed to your success as well. You must have a clear goal why you chose network marketing in the first place; and every day, you should work towards achieving that goal.
